I had been chasing this guy for what seemed like hours trying to get a video or a photo of him. He was zipping between the Salvia, Coral Vine and the Lantanas giving me quite the workout. Finally I got what I thought was an incredible capture- two at once on the Coral Vine- I was so excited! I went to stop the video... and hadn't been recording. 😭 I was crushed. I think he knew and felt sorry for me and went and sat on the fence and let me video him lol! I will not give up- more to come! 😎

The Globe Mallow - love the muted palate of this plant- fantastic drought tolerant option for your garden. 🪴
The Gomphrena, Globe amaranth is a long time favorite of mine. 🌸 Bonus- these blooms make excellent cut flowers.
And finally, who doesn’t love a cactus bloom??? 💛
