This couch was probably one of my favorite projects and it may be because it was a hometown project.

When Sherry Prince Schane reached out about her couch she had so many great ideas but when we finally got to working on it she fell in love with this velvet and was set on it.

This couch had a major makeover, I had to completely take it all apart and start with a wooden frame in order for it to be restored like new. It involved removing the authentic horsehair and hay stuffing and also retying the seat and back springs. The couch did need new cushions but instead of three separate cushions she decided one big cushion would be better and I completely agreed with her choice.

Added a pop of color to balcony by making new cushion covers for her chair and making two custom pillows for her love seat to tie them in together. Also I decided to make her a face mask out of the left over scraps as a form of appreciation for working with me during these difficult times!
