1st post in a while as I’ve been incredibly busy but this is just to highlight issues other than just leaves or twigs that can clog up a gutter
This was literally in every 2nd story gutter all the way around. I estimate between 1/4-1/2” of shingle grit that loosens in time and ends up in the gutter.
As the rain falls it eventually stops and creates a dam and builds up from there slowing the path of water to a crawl. Once that happens water can sit and within the weight of the grit combined with water it can sag the gutters
