We are pleased to offer this beautiful Antique French XL Pot. This amazing treasure was most likely used as a pot à confiture (jam pot) or a pot à cornichons (pickle jar).

Because these jars did not have screw-top lids, they were filled up to the neck and then sealed using parchment, greaseproof paper, or animal bladder tied tightly around the rolled rim with twine. Sometimes, a layer of melted wax or fat was poured directly over the food inside to form an airtight barrier.

This piece is an antique dating to the late 19th century (circa 1880–1900) and was manufactured in France, most likely in the Burgundy or Provence regions.

This particular piece is in incredible condition with outstanding staining and crazing throughout.

Measurements: 5 1/2”x 7”

We are pleased to offer this beautiful Antique French Longwy “Mignon”Tureen (Soupière). This Longwy “Mignon” tureen is an antique French earthenware (terre de fer) soup dish produced by the renowned Faïencerie de Longwy in Lorraine, France, primarily during the late 19th and early 20th centuries (circa 1870–1914).

The “Mignon” pattern is a classic transferware design featuring delicate, naturalistic themes, typically combining floral garlands, leaves, and whimsical birds or insects.

The pattern is usually executed in deep teal, rich blue-green, or soft blue transfer glaze over a cream-white or off-white earthenware background.

Built with standard 19th-century French Louis XV/XVI stylistic influences, featuring molded handles, a matching lid (often with a decorative finial), and occasional scalloped edges.

This particular piece is in incredible condition and clean such that it can be used.

(Note: We have additional pieces in this pattern if you are seeking to make a serving ensemble).

Measurements: 12” handle to handle x 10”h (includes the lid)

We are pleased to offer this beautiful Antique French Saint-Uze Cafetière. An antique Saint-Uze cafetière (french drip coffee pot) is a highly collectible piece of 19th- to early 20th-century French regional stoneware (grès cérame), originating from the Saint-Uze region in the Drôme department of southeastern France.

These traditional drip coffee pots typically featured a stacked, multi-part construction—a bottom pot with a handle and spout, a fitted interior filter strainer, and a lid. Over time, original complete sets (pot + filter + lid) have become rarer, as filter components were easily chipped or lost.

Measurements: 10”h x 10” spout to handle on base
