I have been thinking about tables this week and I want your opinion. Do you prefer to sit at a table to work/eat/play or do you use an alternate space (coffee table, floor, bar, etc)? Is it an intentional decision or based on the space you have?

We have a smaller living space in our new apartment and our original table was way too bulky, so we removed it and waiting to replace it to see what we thought. Well I loved the cute reading corner it made, but I HATED not having a table! I love sitting at a designated space to eat and work. I just added a new table and excited to see how it changes my habits and my space!

Y’all... it has been a minute!!!
I have been posting on my story, but have been feeling less than inspired to say anything on my feed. Instead of making myself feel bad for not keeping up with social, I decided to let it go and not worry. I have to say, it felt really nice.

But now I am back! I have been focusing on daily habits that make my day run smooth. Recently, I have been sharing making my bed each morning. I was happy to hear that it is something that has resonated with a few people and held them accountable to make their own bed.

Although this seems small it is not. Even small habits make a big difference. I hope to keep posting tricks I do to make my life run smooth and I hope it helps any part of your day!

Soooo, I FINALLY, have all my images in one place. Because I switched from an android to iPhone, getting all my photos organized was not easy. First step, get them in one place. I tried google drive (too slow) putting them all on my computer (too much storage) so I ended up adding them all to google photos. While I was doing this (frustrating task) I actually found myself smiling looking through all the great memories I had on my phone. This reminded me that the best part of decluttering is remembering what you have and appreciating the memory associated with it. I am taking a few moments to appreciate having this little companion right now. Through my parents traveling experience, I have seen the value of having something that forces you to get into a schedule. Whether that is children, a hobby, job, or fur babe. I have been trying to find a new routine in this new home. Sometimes healthy routines fall into place and sometimes you need to make a conscious decision to adopt them. Right now I am focusing on finding a good/healthy routine for my meals. It has been so exciting trying new restaurants in Austin, so I am using things like daily harvest to balance my diet out. This is not an ad for daily harvest, just a reminder to use whatever means necessary to make your goals attainable and to get this year off to the right start.
