Project: Multi-use Garage Organization

I love, love, love creating a multi-use space - because... it is a challenge! One must think outside the box of how to accommodate all the uses into one.

Goodness me 🤦‍♀️no photo of the other side of the garage, but this space held items for multiple businesses, while functioning as a working studio for an artist, which I could not really move much of those items (left side). The space also accommodated outdoor adventure equipment, workout equipment & kiddo play items.

Multi-use space + storage & here are a couple of recommendations I sent the client.

I think the utility mat for the artist's space could ground the environment. Centering on just that space, while all around holds other meaning & function.

Project: Child's closet & Master closet Organization...it doesn't stop with just the closet.

The child's closet needed to be accessible to the child, for easy access to her clothing, accessories & some toys, while also holding future clothing for the baby sister & extra bedding.

The master closet just needed better flow & display of where items live.

I want my clients to feel like they can step into their closets & know exactly where to find a shirt or a dress based on cap-sleeve, short-sleeve or long-sleeve.

With accessories & shoes on display, I try to create a shopping-like experience for my clients...jewelry is here, hats are here, etc, etc. Now put the outfit together & go!

I haven't been posting lately, but 2025 was a splended year for GVD to show up differently.

How, you ask?

A child had requested GVD services for her creative space. A child!! I was stoked!

I have organized other areas of this child's home, per her mother's request, but she requested some GVD help in her space.

Anyway, it was a huge honor ✨️
