Simplified Chaos is more than just organizing, I am also an Interior Designer ✨

So I am sharing something a little different this week. We bought our house over two years ago and went to studs to remodel. Well it was time to update again, I never liked how dark the cabinets came out the first time so I went a complete different route this time.

It has been a minute due to myself starting a new full time job but I am back to help get you organized 🙌🏼

Here is an example of resetting the entire house to be more functional. There is a baby on the way and needed to be more baby proof and more organized for functionality. It started in the basement with updating storage and the play area. Then upstairs to move big sis to her new room fully and get the baby’s room ready for their arrival! This also included tidying up the living room and kitchen area.

One of my favorites to date! 😍

This client recently moved into this space for their business and needed help with a better way to display everything with easy organization. It started with taking everything out of the shipping boxes and categorizing. Then creating a better space for the item, updating the shelving and the storage tubs creating efficient, easy to use, and aesthetically pleasing look. Upgrading a bedroom can create chaos in others. These two rooms were then used to benefit in other ways. The first room was more of a catch all that was then turned into a dressing room. This is an older farm house with multiple little rooms, so creating this space right off the main bath was very suitable. The second room was a previous bedroom now a better suited play area for kids to have a dedicated space.

Behind closed doors need attention as well. Here is an example of a client who does not have a basement and needed help with storage space. Between moving and simply life, the boxes started to pile in two spare bedrooms. One bedroom became a craft room while the other became a neater space for storage items. First was the storage room, the purchase of synchronized totes and categorizing was priority. Then the second room items were categorized and implemented into the new storage area to create an entire empty room.

This client bought a new business and the previous owner left behind a deal of items. I went and removed things from the small space that were not needed and relocated dishware and other items to be placed in more convenient places. I reused the shelving and tubs in the space upon request. Check out the pictures for before and after photos!

An introduction of myself and the business!

My name is Shelby Buehne and I have a degree in Interior Design with the aspect that every house should become a home. Simplified Chaos is all about literally simplifying the chaos to meet all of your needs. There are two sides of the business, organization and design. Creating an organized space is crucial to be able to function efficiently in your home. With starting out with a clean blank canvass and then meeting the clients needs to be able to create a beautiful and efficient space. On the other side, assisting with design aspects for more of a cosmetic upgrade. The simplicity of having another opinion that is in the profession to guide along to create a space for you and your family to enjoy to the fullest.
