Palmiter's Garden Nursery Growing gardens in the Genesee Valley for over 40 years! We are a small retail nursery located in between Avon and Geneseo in the heart of the Genesee Valley.

We carry an interesting and unusual selection of Perennials including Hosta, Dwarf Conifers, Flowering Shrubs, Herbs, Succulents, Specialty Annuals, and a wide selection of Glazed Pottery. We also have a very large selection of Garden Peonies, including intersectionals, species, rockii, and other named Tree Peonies. We are retail only, sorry we don't ship plants!

We put up all the shade yesterday, just in time for summer I guess. I think we could take it a little less warm, but at least it’s pushing along the heat lovers like basil, peppers and tomatoes that seemed to be lagging with the chilly nights. Cheers to moderation on both ends soon😬!

Cute little unusual sweet pea! This little diminutive Lathyrus vernus is a small 12” spring blooming non-vining perennial for the front of a part shade area. Comes in purple and pink! We’re still open by chance or appointment till mid April but here most days now so feel free to stop on in!
