When this client called wanting to have her entry door trim stripped of lead paint and some rot repaired, a quick inspection and it was decided that the best option was a full replacement. Her only request was that it be wood and not a plastic reproduction, and that it keep the same appearance. So we went to work removing the old trim and reproducing the aesthetic of the fluting as accurately as possible.
