We recently had the pleasure of designing the Cardon Film Studio. The building re-imagines a small, irregularly shaped lot in one of Decatur’s Downtown District. Celebrating the owner’s childhood home & culture the design was inspired by the Spanish Colonial courtyard residential blocks of Granada Nicaragua. As the design nucleus the building’s interior lobby, offices, breakroom & filming studio focus around the views, light & social benefits of the courtyard.

We loved collaborating with and to design Thrive Coworking’s Greenville, SC location. Thrive Coworking offers inspired, rentable work spaces that are infused with a sense of adventure. At this location we took on the challenge of blending Thrive’s brand standards with regionally inspired aesthetics.

Nothing but blue skies and progress at our latest project with the city of Riverdale, GA: The City of Riverdale Archive. Structural framing is complete and final steps are being made to get walls up and the roof installed!

Office of Design was recently recognized with a 2024 Excellence in Rehabilitation Award from for our work on the and the Sycamore Building located in Decatur, GA. For this project, we turned a late 19th century chapel into an event space and the attached school building into offices. Original plaster, stonework, woodwork, and stained glass windows were preserved and given new life. Updates to the school building preserved and accentuated the original midcentury style interiors. Scope also included the design of a new elevator tower and lobby to ensure the building was fully accessible. Thank you to the for the recognition!
