Pumpkin Brook Organic Gardening

Pumpkin Brook Organic Gardening Providing professional care for your prized plantings. Weekly, biweekly, or seasonal visits are available. Consultations and garden coaching are also offered.

Pumpkin Brook Organic Gardening provides organic land care services in northwest suburban Boston, including Lincoln, Lexington, Concord, Carlisle, Acton, Harvard, Groton, Lancaster, Bolton, Stow and surrounding towns. Our primary service is skilled maintenance of existing gardens, exclusive of lawns: pruning, transplanting, dividing, staking, deadheading, renovating borders, planting, and clearing

neglected areas. We also design and install renovations and new plantings in small areas. When gardens are maintained organically the plants are stronger. They require less care in the long run, less water, less fertilizer, and create an environment that is healthier for the homeowner.

Plant Pick: Pawpaw Tree, Asimina triloba – Growing in popularity, Pawpaw trees mature at 15’-30’ tall by 15’-20’ wide. They can be kept pruned to around a 10’ size for ease of picking the large fruits, the biggest native fruit in North America. Since bloom time is April to May, it’s best to site your Pawpaw in a protected area in case of a late frost.
