ADOPTED

Good Thursday Morning!
Nanuka is in need of an adoptive home and YOUR SHARES!
This gorgeous girl is a cross-post for the good people at the Washington Alaskan Malamute Adoption League - WAMAL.

The lovely Nanuka is described as very friendly with people and loves getting attention and pets—she can be quite vocal when wanting attention! This social butterfly would love to join you on your daily walks, greeting friends and neighbors you meet along the way. Nanuka is estimated to be about 9 years old, she weighs 75 pounds.

Nanuka is described as very calm and low-energy without much interest in toys, but this lovely girl has a unique bedtime ritual--she runs playfully back and forth, evading capture but stopping quickly for a little lean-in. After repeating several times, she takes a flying leap onto the bed, lies down, and rolls over on her back for tummy rubs. She walks well on leash and knows commands including 'sit', 'down', 'go to bed', and 'shake'.

Nanuka would do really well in a home as a single dog--she would prefer to not share her home with another pup - she wants to be the queen! She is house trained, and crate-trained so ready to move right on into your home. If you are looking for an adult malamute to add to your family pack, Nanuka is a really wonderful dog and just about as perfect as they come!

Nanuka is posted for the Washington Alaskan Malamute League located in Puyallup, WA. For more information about Nanuka and adopting her, please email: [email protected]

This is not an Old Dog Haven dog. Old Dog Haven has not assessed this dog for medical issues and will not be responsible for medical care after adoption. We urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.

UPDATE: HOSPICE HOME FOUND!

(in W. Washington, Spokane or Portland, OR only)

Yellow labrador retriever who weighs 75 pounds. He is a neutered male. This is an extremely nice, easy, good dog by all accounts. However, his medical condition made his longtime family give him to another family who discovered that their situation also isn't good for him. He's great with dogs, cats and kids, his organs seem to be working well, but he likely has spinal damage that's making it very hard for him to manage stairs - i.e. to get outside and back in - and he's losing control of his p**p. He's aware but he can't get out quickly enough. That's a bad sign that more incontinence is coming and he will become more neurologically impaired fairly soon. Aggressive medical care may be helpful in putting off the end for a while and we certainly will try. After losing two homes so recently, we would very much like him to have a home where he is WANTED for his last few months.

If you'd like to join our network of forever foster homes and give this very sweet boy the home he needs, please read through the link below and contact us. Remember, Old Dog Haven covers ALL vet bills (thanks to donations!).

Old Dog Haven HOME FOUND

Yanni is still in need of an Old Dog Haven Final Refuge home.
We know many of you have shared her and we really appreciate that but
we are hoping you will hit your share buttons for her once more. 🙏

PERMANENT Old Dog Haven FOSTER HOME FOUND
(in W. Washington, Spokane and Portland OR only)

She is probably shih tzu mix? A spayed female, who weighs 23 pounds. Yanni's exact age is unknown as she was a shelter "stray"; she is at least 12 years old. This cheery, friendly, lively little girl likes everyone - dogs, people, cats and kittens. She's social and active, loves walks and is reliably housebroken. She takes two medications for hypertension and will probably always need fairly frequent baths to keep her skin from getting greasy. She does have separation anxiety so would like people around most of the time - dog buddies might do the trick as well - and she is a flight risk if she gets out of the yard or house. For both issues, good fences and friends around will be a big help!

Here is where you can read more about how to apply to foster for Old Dog Haven and what it entails.

About us

Frangenco, LLC, is a parent company comprised of two separate divisions, Top Coat Painters, and Ceiling Pro Cleaners. Frangenco was founded in 2002 by Frances A. Coviello and Gene N. Coviello. Based in Preston, CT, is independent , non-franchised company. We are a certified minority, woman owned entity (EDWOSB).

Top Coat Painters is focused on being in the service industry. Painting and the other menu of products we provide are a service, and we recognize their importance. With that in mind we have built and continue to build on an outstanding reputation. Top Coat Painters is five star rated on Service Magic and A rated on Angie’s List, the two major independent contractor rating services in the country. Our business is built on referrals, and we have demonstrated sustainability, having grown since our founding in 2002, despite the downturns in the housing building and remodeling industry.

In 2008 we, decided to research other services in order to maintain the viability and growth of the company in tough economic times. We recognized the opportunity of becoming a certified dealer with Ceiling Pro International, a worldwide leader in ceiling cleaning and restoration. This product and service line complimented Top Coat Painters well. It reached a wider and more diverse market, has a tremendous untapped customer base, a clear competitive price advantage, and utilizes most of the same labor force and equipment. Ceiling Pro Cleaners is a perfect application for the current economy, a low cost, ecologically sound alternative to acoustical and vinyl ceiling replacement. Our products and services can save property owners up to 80% on their ceiling maintenance projects and eliminate disposal concerns.
