Sometimes staying late to get the perfect connection has its perks!

It has been a pleasure working in collaboration with the many talented teams behind this unique and challenging project that was recently completed outside Jackson, WY.

These European steel lift and slide doors are equipped with a one-of-a-kind automation and tinting system that was designed in collaboration between multiple national and international partners. It has proven to be an engineering and labor intensive project for everyone involved, but it is also a truly beautiful, functional, and rewarding build we always enjoy visiting. You could say it is close to our heart at Big Door, and we think you can see why.

What a week in Aspen! Four Arcadia automated curved doors in a castle, and a giant automated NanaWall multislide. We even stayed an extra day for visiting Hunter S. Thompsons old haunt at Woody Creek Tavern and mountain biking at Snomass. Not too shabby!

Out with the old and in with the new! We recently had the pleasure of removing some outdated door automation systems from a show-stopping property above Coeur d’Alene Lake. We replaced them with updated technology and powerful new motors from Summit Automation. Happy to report these doors are now running in tip-top shape for the summer!
