Had lots of people surprised to see me in John Day. As post below shows, still have a house there. And family there.
While I quit Coverworks almost 3 years ago, I still am doing flooring occasionally. When we went to buy Coverworks things changed so we backed out. It did get new owners who told me to cut quality and get jobs done faster skipping important steps. Quantity over quality.
We recommend Carpet One in Baker City for getting quality work and materials.
I go through Costless Carpet in Hermiston for my materials. They are also in Bend.
We occasionally still install but on limited basis, I work in a different field but kept all my tools.
I rarely use this page but you can message me on house link below till sold then it will go back to a flooring page.
We will likely open a small shop in Baker after selling MT Vernon house. Mostly selling flooring at a great discount.

My Vernon house updated page.
We will be pushing house over flooring until sold
Then plan to buy a lot of flooring to sell warehouse style in Baker City.
Mostly in stock at a great price.

FYI Mike does not do any work for Coverworks and have not for the past year. It has new owners who did not share the same standard of quality in work .

Just a update after Mike and Tawnia left Coverworks.
Mike left as the company was going to change hands and the new owners were wanting to move to quantity over quality . Giving strick time lines regardless of how.
Sadly multiple jobs the last few were done via new owners rules vs the correct way.
Tawnia went to Step Forward and works in the main office .
We definitely enjoyed our time there under the prior owners who where quality minded.
We moved to Baker planning to buy the company but some things changed right after moving preventing us from selling our Mt Vernon home right away .
After buying a house in Baker we wanted to move onto buying company but unlike the house had no idea there.
With the new owners lack of quality issues we decided to get away from Coverworks and possibly start a new company after selling Mt Vernon house.
Mt Vernon house is for sale , I am frequently still in Grant County working on it.

As of today I put in my 2 weeks notice with Coverworks. It was a good run just not what I want to continue with. Several things happening. All good. Will update later as I settle into my next adventure

22*12 feet thick and heavy. Been a lot lately like this. This was done while van was out of service. Obviously not a preferred way to carry material in this weather

Not going to lie, this is worst stretcher I have ever used 🤦‍♂️. For anyone looking to buy one, Crain is much better. I have Crain and some other older ones that are flawless. These new Roberts are not worth the money saved going cheap
