Now is the time for our June/July application of your 20-5-10+4% iron fertilizer with pre-emergent. Additionally apply the "Gallery" pre-emergent for broadleaf w**d control. Put these down no later then the 4th of July if your planning on planting winter rye in October.

We also have lots of LT120 surfactant going on peoples lawns right now. This helps with water retention and the reduction of overall watering required. This product also helps with pe*******on of water and the addition of carbon into the soil. All of these amendments help enrich soil, moisturize turf roots, and assist you in sustaining a beautiful green during the sweltering summer heat!

As we move towards our warmer temperatures here in the valley, drop by and let us consult you on proper watering techniques for your lawn and landscape.

Our LT120 product does a wonderful job of giving your soil three surfactants in one spray on application. This will last for four months!

What's in LT120 that makes it SO good for your lawn and flower beds???

- First, a ground penetrant that opens up hardened soil nine inches deep.

- Second, it infuses carbon to enrich the soil web with microbial activity.

- Third, it introduces a moisturizing polymer into the top couple inches which helps retain water in the upper feeder root zone on your turf. This polymer can reduce water needs up to 30%!

Also, April is the next application of our custom fertilizer, "Spring Blend", a 20-5-10 +4% Iron, which includes in it a pre-emergent for Crabgrass.

Additionally you'll want to spray down "Bayer Season Long" for broadleaf w**d control plus Trimec for killing broad leaf w**ds.

The two of these pre-emergents will give you a full ninety days of w**d coverage.

Gardener's Supply Inc. is busy at work with our service team supplying 70/30 mix, red infield clay, conditioners, rebuilding home plate, mounds, and leveling fields for Bakersfield City High Schools as well as McFarland Parks and Rec. district.

We also offer on-site consultation. We work alongside many activity directors with their maintenance and operation crews at multiple sites with how to care and up keep their ball diamonds.
