Dukes Lawn Care has consistently emphasized structure, discipline, and work ethics for the youth. Having spent many years working outdoors, I recall being reprimanded for getting dirty, but I now utilize this experience to teach children the value of hard work. My goal is to instruct them on the proper use of equipment, the importance of teamwork, and the value of considering others before themselves. I also strive to instill respect and discipline in these young individuals, many of whom lack a father figure in their lives like myself. As a result, I have assumed the roles of father figure, big brother, and friend. Initially, I established this program with my eight children, who have since grown and moved on. I have continued to work with numerous other children, and it appears that our efforts have been successful Every kid that worked with us for at least a year or two are still working hard in their adult years, as we remain operational.
