The Chester remodel is progressing, as shown in these pictures from last week. The final two images are close-up views of the woodworking done by the previous owners, which unfortunately did not meet standards. In response to comments on our previous post about painting the 'beautiful woodworking,' we are sharing evidence of the poorly cut mitres, improper material measurements, and insufficient fastening throughout the stained woodwork. After rectifying these issues with proper nailing, oil primer, thorough caulking, and three coats of premium semigloss, the transformation is remarkable. Future updates will include wall colors and tile flooring in the kitchen and bathrooms.
