These queen over queen bunk beds that I built with my good friend Andy are a fantastic way to maximize sleeping space, especially in a guest house. The rough sawn pine also gives them a rustic and cozy feel, perfect for a lakeside retreat.

Here are some things that make these bunk beds particularly impressive:

Size: Queen over queen is a luxurious amount of space for your guests.
Storage: The 4 full extension drawers are a brilliant idea for keeping bedding, clothes, or other items neatly stored and easily accessible.
Removable ladders: This adds flexibility and safety, especially for guests who may not be as comfortable climbing a ladder.

Ruff sawn lumber came from Cummings Lumber a local mill located in Fredric, WI. Jason was great to work with at the mill.

Designers come up with some wild designs but proper planning transformed a wild design into a stunning reality.
First off I had to cut each tile in half before figuring out how to wrap the drain with grout joints that looked visually appealing.

The bathroom's poor lighting caused color variations in each picture, but the finished product still shines.
