What happens if you stay.
I’ve been thinking about this a lot today. We decided to stay in Baltimore, but it wasn’t without a fight. In my 20’s I was miserable and dreamt a lot about leaving and finding better but instead I got a job I really liked and met so many good people that made everything better, but I still had that itch for something more… In my 30’s I set out to build my own adventure and started my path as an entrepreneur and also tried to learn a bunch of different skills to see what would stick. In my 40’s I learned a lot about myself and what I love and what I hate about having my own business, and kept digging and kept going even when it seemed impossible. Now, at 56 after a life of Goldiloxing I found myself at a place that feels just right. And I’m glad I stayed. Baltimore has been right here for me all along. This city has held me tight and didn’t let me fall too hard when I did fall (over and over) and pushed me back up when I needed it. It allowed me to uncover my true path and let it flourish. It is about the journey but also about recognizing when you’ve actually reached your destination and saying thanks. 🙏 More to come.
