Congratulation to Dawn and Jazmin for completing their Stillwater Natives Nursery internship! Each of the Coquille high school students received a stipend from Friends of Bandon Parks & Recreation, a check for $800.00! Besides learning nursery skills, these girls helped with community projects that help our south coast ecosystems. Thank you, Dawn and Jazmin!

I guess Hummers need protein to go with those native flowers: red columbine, pink honeysuckle, western azaleas, penstemon, Twinberry, Red flowering currant, orange honeysuckle, Scarlet Monkeyflower, and Goldenrod. They Goldenrod holds tiny insects for the hummers to eat.

During this tour< I will be at the Langlois Library Garden between 1 and 3 pm. as the helper. Scroll down to read more about the ticket purchase options.

Here is helpful information for our Native Plant Garden Tour, this Saturday, June 13th. Gardens will be open between 1:00 - 5:00 pm and are located between Langlois and Port Orford. The tour includes two river properties, two “in-town” residential properties, and one public space.

If you’ve already purchased a ticket, your ticket/map will be emailed this Thursday.

Day-Of Sales: If you would like to purchase a ticket in person on the day of sale, please start your tour at the Langlois Public Library (48234 Hwy 101, Langlois). Tickets are $10 and can be purchased using cash, check (made out to NPSOSCC), or via a QR Code on your phone. A map with addresses of remaining sites will be provided then and serve as your ticket to the other sites.

Already have a ticket, but a friend wants to join you? Please start at your assigned starting garden. Your friend will be able to purchase a ticket (cash, check, or via QR Code) at that garden.

It's supposed to be sunny and warm: wear a hat and bring water!

Come see these gardens and get inspired for your own yard
