Most people driving these roads today have no idea what it looked like just a few weeks ago.
Over a month away from home.
Early mornings. Late nights. 7 days a week.
Day after day, from sunup to sundown, the work didn’t stop. You push through the heat, the traffic, the long hours… because when people need help, you go.
Now everything feels normal again. Roads are clear. Traffic is moving. Life has picked back up.
But we know what it took to get here.
And along the way, we met a lot of incredible people—people who were patient, supportive, and truly appreciative of the work being done. That’s something we won’t forget.
It wasn’t just the work that stuck with us, though.
Somewhere along the way, this dog started showing up… laying under the truck for shade, sticking by us day after day like part of the crew. No one knew where it came from at first—but it stayed.
Through all the long days, it became a reminder that sometimes just showing up matters more than anything.
We were able to track down its owners and get it back home.
Moments like that stick with you.
We’re down to the final stretch out here. Just a few trucks left wrapping things up.
Proud of the work. Grateful to be part of something that actually makes a difference.
