Ai visualization helps me sell the concepts I envision. I was able to create an uplifting experience for the Summer guests who will experience sitting on these decks. That wraps up a great island home series of projects. I’m starting the cottage interior build out near Bar Harbor tomorrow.

60 grit to this distressed Redwood Cedar deck. Structure was there, but the deck boards have lost a lot of their rigidity. 3 pound hammer knocking in screws and nails resting above grade.

Went with an oil modified topcoat to harden the exterior and fill a lot of the cracks. Not bad going into the season and something we can work on again in the Fall.

The reveal is in the last image. Latasil is a high grade siliconized corner fill. Translucent and ideal to support stone sinks. Old corners out, deep clean the stone, seal, dry, tape boundaries, apply corner sealer and run the bead before pulling the tape.

Taking a moment to pause and reflect on the gratitude I have for life. Missing my sister. Built this bike to honor her life. Getting up to the top of this mountain through the mud and rock formation creeks flowing today was definitely a challenge. I get to go home though. She doesn’t. Wish everyone a peaceful day .

Called in to assess potential water damage on the lower glass wall. No mold but it needed to be redone down to the studs. New niche, tile, bead board, and trim. Grateful to get ahead of mold for the win.
