The following two items are from a bathroom remodel we are currently working on.
They are new. The previous owners remodeled this particular bathroom to make it more attractive for buyers.
The new owners have hired us to gut the room, and do something completely different.
The toilet was used, maybe a handful of times, at best.
The tub/shower likely was not used after the last remodel, either.
So, this pair of glass doors, are essentially brand new.

These glass panels are not the “typical” 3/8” thickness.
They are a full, 1/2” thick.
Dimensions of each panel are 59 5/8” x 28 3/8”
Finish is chrome.
This year, we have been using a North Ellsworth glass company for our installations. (We highly recommend them over their local competition)
We have been assured that this is a $2,000.00 set of doors.
They are available for $999.00 or best offer.

A sign of the newness of the toilet is that there aren’t any iron stains, or a waterline.
The toilet is $50.00 or free with the doors.
The toilet can be picked up in Downtown Bar Harbor.
Free delivery on the doors, if the asking price is agreed upon.

A minimum of 2 years of carpentry experience is a must.
The successful candidate is preferred to be well rounded in the trades, which would include experience in flooring, installationas, tiling, Sheet-rocking, mudding/taping, painting, etc.
At this stage of our development, each member of the team will be a subcontractor with his or her own liability policy.
Strict attention to detail and a work ethic of the highest degree is critical.

My first Before and after as OHK&B

What you don’t see is the minimally invasive (lucky) route for water lines from the third story(never had plumbing to third floor) all the way to the basement.
It’s also special to me, since I spent many years of my childhood, riding my bike into Somesville. I would often come here, to the old A.V. Higgins store for a Hostess fruit pie, or, my favorite, Suzie Qs.
Also interesting, is that on day 2 of Demo, the current owners, (Robin Williams & Capt. Tom Brown)
Had discovered that about 160 years ago, a couple of my ancestors, turned this third floor into the local “Masonic Hall”.
One more thing….yes, that is a skylight in the shower.
I’m told that a nighttime shower is pretty cool.
