(This batch came out so fudgy!)
Sourdough treats don't necessarily taste super sour, nor does sourdough bread.
That flavor is typically something you'll find in fake sourdough from the grocery store. Mass produced "sourdough" is not handcrafted and does not have long fermentation, wild yeast, natural prebiotics or gut health goodness.
That sour flavor is just added flavors and vinegar unfortunately.
When is the last time you've had a brownie that naturally nourished your gut flora? I'll wait.... lol
