Happy Asphalt Day 2026!

“Asphalt is part of everyday life - from the roads we drive to the roofs over our heads,” said Asphalt Institute President Reed Ryan. “Asphalt Day is about recognizing the people, innovation and impact behind it.”

Beyond its everyday use, asphalt plays a key role in building durable, sustainable communities. Asphalt pavements can be quickly repaired after extreme weather events, helping restore mobility when it matters most. Asphalt is the most recycled material by weight in the United States, supporting a circular economy and reducing environmental impact. ♻️

Studies show 94% of all U.S. roads are paved with asphalt and 80% of U.S. residential roofs are covered with asphalt roofing shingles. ✅✅

This is it. This is our National Work Zone Awareness Week post. As real as it gets.

04/24/2026

We are so proud of our Lucas Guinn for bravely sharing his story this National Work Zone Awareness Week, and grateful every day that he and paving foreman Austin Bickers are healthy and well.

Road construction workers are real people with real families. They’re our family. If anything can resound with the public to please slow down and pay attention in work zones, our prayer is that this real testimony can and does.
