I’m looking for 3–5 real-world problems to solve.
Not signs. Not toys. Not random trinkets.
I’m talking about those annoying little problems at work, in the shop, on the boat, in the garage, on the farm, or around your business where you’ve said:
“I wish somebody made something for this.”
Maybe you need a custom:
• Tool holder
• Jig or drilling guide
• Bracket or mount
• Replacement plastic part
• Organizer or tray
• Vial/sample holder
• Hose or cable holder
• Adapter or spacer
• Fixture that holds something in the same position every time
• Protective cover or cap
• Custom part that simply DOES NOT EXIST
That is exactly what I’m looking for.
I own Stillwater Forge, and I’m expanding the custom design and problem-solving side of the business.
Right now, I’m choosing 3–5 problems that I think I can realistically solve using CAD design and 3D printing.
For the problems I select, I’ll design and make the first prototype at no charge.
I’m doing this because I want real problems to work on, real-world feedback, and strong examples of the kind of custom solutions Stillwater Forge can provide.
You do not need to know anything about 3D printing.
You just need to have a problem.
COPY THIS, FILL IT OUT, AND SEND IT TO ME:
Name:
What do you do / where would this be used?
What is the problem?
How are you dealing with it right now?
What would you like the part to do?
Approximate size:
Would it need to handle weight, heat, chemicals, water, or outdoor exposure?
Can you send pictures of the problem/area? YES / NO
Anything else I should know?
Send that to me through Messenger.
Pictures are highly encouraged.
And if you’re sitting there thinking:
“I don’t know if my problem is something he could make…”
Send it anyway.
Worst case, I tell you it isn’t a good fit.
Best case, we create something that solves a problem you’ve been dealing with for years.
Businesses especially — I want to hear from you.
If your employees are wasting time every day because something needs a better holder, jig, fixture, organizer, adapter, mount, carrier, or custom part, that is exactly the type of problem I want to attack.
And even if you personally don’t need anything:
TAG the mechanic, machinist, contractor, farmer, lab worker, boat guy, maintenance guy, small-business owner, or professional problem-solver in your life who is constantly saying:
“Somebody needs to make something for this.”
That’s the person I want to talk to.
Stillwater Forge — custom solutions for problems off-the-shelf products don’t solve.
