Take advantage of this if you’re in need. Spread the word. This heat is extremely dangerous.

Due to the extreme temperatures we will be experiencing this week, Barstow Community College has set up a cooling station in our gymnasium. Beginning Monday, July 8th, through Thursday, July 11th, the James R. Parks gymnasium will be open to the public from 9 AM to 6 PM to provide a safe and cool environment to escape the heat.

We have arranged the following amenities for your comfort:
- Tables and chairs
- Access to restrooms
- Movies for children
- Food available for purchase from the Viking Grill

We encourage everyone to take advantage of this cooling station during these hot days. Please share with those in need.
