I have not been on here in quite some time. This year has been full of surprises that were unforeseen but not all unwelcome. The amount of rain we received during early summer mixed with the deaths I had in my family made it extremely difficult to keep up with the ever growing weeds so I had to watch as all my efforts in the Spring were strangled out and overtaken by grass.
On the bright side I have received some news that we were excited to learn about. Our little family is getting a little bigger! That is right! I’m pregnant and due in January!
With this news our search for the perfect house has been expedited as our current home is only a two bedroom. So we have been spending so much time to find the best place for us.
This also means that I will have a new born at the beginning of next year right in the middle of when I will be doing all the work for the spring flowers. This has made me question whether I will be taking too much on and should just give that time to bond with my new baby boy as well and my sweet first born boy.
This year has been amazing for me to learn what works, what doesn’t work and what can be scaled back. Spring flowers were very popular but Summer flowers were a hit then a miss. That may have also been just how much less I was posting here but I had enough financial loss with my Summer flowers that I will definitely scale back on my Summer flowers for the future.
