AROID MIX - A chunky mix blended with Potting Soil, Coco Coir, Perlite, Worm Castings and Horticultural Charcoal. We use this mix for our plants at the shop.
MYCORRHIZAE - Beneficial Fungi that form a symbiotic relationship with plant roots, enhancing nutrient & water absorption. A little bit goes a long way.
HORTICULTURAL CHARCOAL - Helps prevent soil rot, root rot & absorb excess moisture. Helps plants get the water they need without too much.
COCO COIR - Can retain 10x its weight in water. Great additive to insure roots are getting adequate water. Also a great medium for propagation or when you are focused on root development.
WORM CASTINGS - Worm P**p! Worm Castings are beneficial in overall soil structure offering nutrients for your plants, helps reduce soil erosion and helps prevent pests. A super food for plants.
SPHAGNUM MOSS - A good option for seed starting, propagation, as a soil amendment and has exceptional water retention. Can hold 20x its weight in water which is great for propagation starts and/or cuttings.
PERLITE - Improves soil aeration, drainage and water retention. Helps prevent soil compaction which aids in root development and a good choice for propagation starts and/or cuttings. Available in Regular & Chunky.
LECA - LECA stands for Lightweight Expanded Clay Aggregate which consists of small, baked clay balls that can be used as a growing medium for plants. LECA is popular in hydroponics because it allows for better water management and reduces the risk of root rot. LECA does not contain any nutrients, so plants will require some type of fertilizer to thrive .
