My name is Jon “Yon” Odsather. I’ve been an arborist for 25 years. I am a Certified Tree Safety Professional (CTSP #2948) from the Tree Care Industry of America TCIA. I am also Certified EHAP for Electrical Hazards Awareness Program. In addition, we as a company do most of our removals with a Knuckle Boom crane. And to operate such a piece of equipment, both OSHA and the Z133 governing body require operators who work around people to be certified every 3 years to ensure safe, smooth, compliant operation. I am currently certified by both NCCeR and NCCCO Crane Certification bodies.
I personally train all the people who work around me in safe chainsaw operation, felling, and crane-assisted tree removal. We continue annual training in Aerial Rescue, rigging, and chipper / Debris safety.
These are all done before we set foot on your property. The number one rule at Apex Tree & Crane is that everyone goes home with all the same parts and pieces they started their day with. This starts with all company equipment. And includes all operator's tools, legs, fingers, arms, and other attached parts! No one gets hurt! We have a 100% perfect safety record and will not sacrifice that for anyone or anything.
