When we started this porch was in rough shape. We completely reframed the entire thing and lifted the roof 6 1/2” to get it back to level. Job is moving along swiftly and homeowners are extremely happy. Wiring, insulation, and drywall are installed.

Current project has been quite a bit of work. All overhangs were rotted so we had to rebuild rafter tails and new fascia on eve edges. New decking for the porch. Built gable over front hip to eliminate some of the water flowing down to porch. And added extra 40” over down entire side of house, per homeowners design. Finish installing metal tomorrow.

Last week we raised entire ceiling from 8 feet to 12 feet to accommodate a new car lift to make a good friends occupation much easier. Had to cut concrete out and pour back 12” thick with 1/2” rebar so he can wrench away.

Finished drop ceiling in bathroom and closets today. Found my handy wiring book and got the 4-way switches hooked up and hooked up lights in mechanical room. Just have to finish some spots drywall blemishes in the hallway and paint again. Great Saturday.

Sherwood basement finish. We got our window back from Battle Creek Glass and installed. Drop ceiling in the bedroom done and lights hooked up. Waiting on final coat of paint to dry so switch and outlet time.

At Sherwood job today we were able to sand all the touchups and prime everything for the second coat. Then we got first coat of paint on everything except the kitchenette area. Great day!
