He lives in Bay Shore/West Islip with his family. John started in construction when he was in High School. He attended BOCES for 2 years, taking carpentry courses. After graduation, he began working for a cabinet
maker who introduced John to a General Contractor. John worked for Vinny from Precision Contracting for 7 years, where he became the foreman of the company. At 25, John, with a partner started their own business, Residential Specialties, Inc. Residential Specialties was very successful for over 25 years. A few years ago, John bought out his partner and continued running the business using his name, Juergensen Contracting Corp. Through all the years that John has been in business, he has always had happy, satisfied clientele and never had complaints against him through Consumer Affairs. He continues to satisfy the same customers and their children. John’s success has been built solely on reputation and he has never needed to advertise to boost business. His reputation is unmatched.
