We are living in a new build, and as a painter one of the first things I noticed was that the bathrooms, kitchen, and laundry room all had a flat finish on the wall. These are high moisture areas that at the minimum require an eggshell finish. Flat unfortunately is still porous, so this means that the moisture can still seep into the wall leading to mold and mildew problems. I understand builders goal is build the houses as quick as possible, but I did want to share the importance of adding sheen to these areas to help protect your home, especially if it’s a new build! This is what it’s all about! My goal is to always to deliver quality work, to be as professional as possible, and to treat your home with the utmost respect like a good house guest should. I also take pride on being fair with my pricing. I know I’m not the cheapest guy, but I also don’t take advantage of customers and charge ridiculous prices. One thing I learned from my dad when he started the business over 30
Years ago was to always ensure you never left a job site until the customer was 100% satisfied, and that continues with Sola today!
