Have you started planting yet?

The kids and I planted onions, peas, and carrots one day last week. Then we did a bed of strawberries. The roots were already sprouting leaves! Today we got impatient and planting broccoli, cabbage, and brussel sprouts.
My indoor starts are all doing well too! It felt good to get my hands in the dirt.

It's almost time! My gardening will be a bit different this season. My children are helping with all of the planting because I cannot be up and down so much while pregnant. I cannot wait to walk thru my garden with a newborn ❤️ have you started plants?

I've been a bit quiet on here because.... I've been keeping a secret. Baby girl due in July. I won't be able to do the heavy lifting in the garden this year. I will however be selling some plants come spring time. Stay tuned for what's available.

These warm days are making me wish I was gardening. Getting ready to plan my garden for the season soon. Do you plan out your garden ahead of time?

Have you ever tried winter sowing? Last year I grew the biggest marigolds ever with this method. I am trying this for all of my flowers this year because my indoor seed starting space is limited. Cannot wait for spring! Winter is just not for me.

It has been too long since I've posted. The summer was a bit crazy for us. I am already browsing seed catalogs and planning my garden for spring. Have you started daydreaming about warmer days too? The cold is already getting to me.

The bees are thriving. I added another box on today. The garden is doing amazing so far.

I had such a productive few days in my garden. I mowed with my reel mower last night. I weeded and mulched about 80% of it today. Planted more flowers and a few veggies. Are you done planting in your gardens?
