Emily brings a dynamic background in culinary arts, hospitality, and event design, with over a decade of experience in everything from floral design to large-scale corporate gatherings, weddings, and even movie and TV set styling! Originally from Honolulu, HI, Emily has called Portland home since 2019. She’s passionate about creativity, coordination, and bringing events to life with style and flair. We’re thrilled to welcome Alex Haslam as our new Show Coordinator for the SLC Home Shows here at Marketplace Events! Alex graduated from Weber State University in 2021 with a degree in Communications. Outside of work, she’s all about reading, traveling (she recently visited Japan—and yes, it was amazing), and creating all kinds of beaded crafts. Right now, Alex is in training for her first half marathon, which she insists is "fun"—though we’re a little skeptical. 🍂 Her favorite season is fall, and you’ll definitely spot her rocking one of her many Halloween sweatshirts and t-shirts—which, by the way, she wears year-round and with zero shame.

Jacquelyne has joined us as VP, Sponsorship — a new role dedicated to securing large-scale national sponsorships across our growing portfolio of shows. Jacquelyne brings a wealth of experience in sponsorships and strategic brand partnerships. Most recently, she led event sponsorships within the fashion division at Informa Markets, working with global clients across 15 annual MAGIC B2B fashion trade shows and 6 digital platforms. Prior to that, she managed partnerships at Condé Nast for Allure and GQ, and began her career as a buyer at Rue Gilt Groupe. Jacquelyne enjoys traveling, hosting family and friends, and spending time with her husband and two dogs — a 17-year-old Puggle and a 1-year-old Bulldog. Cyra (pronounced KEE-ruh) brings a unique blend of precision, passion, and adventurous spirit to the role. A Spokane native and proud farmgirl at heart, Cyra’s roots in eventing and dressage (horseback riding) have shaped her love for organized chaos and behind-the-scenes magic—skills that translate beautifully to our world of consumer shows. With a degree in Biological Engineering from Montana State University and a globe-trotting résumé (31 countries and counting!), Cyra is as comfortable scaling mountains as she is juggling show logistics. Now based in Boulder, Colorado, she spends her downtime running, hiking, or planning her next big adventure—Japan and Peru are top of the list. He’s originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, and now lives in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Alan brings four years of experience in insurance sales, where he worked as both a sales agent and a team lead.
