I wish I was better at documenting my garden. When I get in here, I usually just zone out and forget about taking pictures of stuff. But for this hügelmound build, I made sure to at least snap a few shots. A lot of these are in reverse order, but if you look to the end you can see where I’m going with it and how it came together…

Perennials mixed in with melons. Strawberries, mint, spider flower, yarrow, rhubarb, lemon balm, oregano, mixed native wildflowers, bee balm, sunflowers, apple, elderberries, safe, lavender, etc.

That thing you think is a w**d may be food for a black tailed bumblebee. That paper wasp may be snacking on aphid eggs.

Let it grow and let them go.
