It’s finally bouquet season! I donated several bouquet subscriptions to a few causes close to my heart this year and the winners picked up the first of their jars of happiness this week. They will receive a bouquet every week through the end of August. If you have a fundraiser or auction this year, let me know and I’m happy to donate a bouquet subscription if I haven’t reached my max. I’m still doing bouquets every week to bring joy to those who need some encouragement and love. Don’t hesitate to reach out. They are free. They can be picked up from my house in Bella Vista or my office in Rogers—I do not deliver.

We’re getting closer and closer to prime time! I’ve made a few bouquets for myself this year, but this one is the first one to leave my house this season. The upcycled jelly jar is stuffed with Icelandic poppies, anemones, ranunculus, salvia, Dame’s Rocket, lemon balm, Sweet Annie, & Siberian Iris buds. I absolute love the delicate flowers of early spring and I *really* hope this weekend’s heat wave isn’t the end of them because we’re still several weeks away from summer blooms.

Yesterday’s bouquets! I just cut armfuls more a few minutes ago that I’ll arrange early tomorrow. “Dirty” flowers like zinnias do best when conditioned overnight in water with a little bleach. Celosia and many others do best if allowed to hang out in water overnight to hydrate as well.
