Butch Tetzlaff with the Bluebird Shed will present a helpful program on bird identification. He will teach attendees how to look at a bird the way the experts do, and soon you will be identifying unknown birds with ease. The presentation is intended for beginners and novices.

If you missed the January and February programs, we're doing it again this Saturday out at Hobbs State Park. Come out and see Butch and his team, along with live songbirds up close and personal!

Join us on Saturday, March 8th, from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. for a unique opportunity to see live songbirds up close as ornithologists capture, study, and release them! 🌿✨

Enjoy breakfast snacks, juice, and coffee while learning more about these incredible birds. Stay for a while or drop by as you please! Big thanks to Bluebird Shed, 3-D Pet Products, Ozark Bird Conservancy, and Friends of Hobbs for making this event possible!

Come out this Saturday to Hobbs State Park from 9 to 11 to see Butch and his team present a program on our wintering birds.

It's National Bird Feeding Month - an important theme for helping these creatures survive winter. Learn more about them at Birds & Breakfast this Saturday from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM! You'll get to watch trained ornithologists capture these creatures and teach us about them before being released back to their natural habitat. Breakfast snacks, juice, and coffee will be provided. ☕️

The Bluebird Shed will be closed Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday. Stop in on Saturday to see some of our new winter merchandise including these owl-shaped sunflower seeds suet cakes. Happy Thanksgiving!

Peak hummingbird season is nearly upon us as migration starts to occur. Because of the unusually dry weather we have had, many flowers will not be blooming, so the hummingbirds may be looking for additional nectar sources before they start their southward migration. Come see our extensive collection of hummingbird feeders and talk to Butch or Quin about providing and maintaining this important food source for these jeweled beauties.
We will be closed on Monday, September 2 in observance of Labor Day.
Enjoy the hummingbirds for the next month, as they will be heading south by the first week of October.

It's hard to imagine that the Bluebird Shed has been around for 7 years, but today, August 1 is our 7th anniversary. It has been fantastic getting to know so many wonderful people in the community. We hope we have helped you enjoy your backyards and the birds that inhabit it, and thank you for allowing us to have the best job in the world!

Mr. Bird has a new product available that we are now offering to our customers. This Bugs, Nuts and Fruit mix is the same as what comes in compressed cakes, but is now also in loose form. With mealworms already included, it is sure to be a hit with our feathered friends!

In conjunction with Bella Vista's city-wide garage sale this weekend, we are having a "Shed Sale" starting today, April 25th. Items include gently used, scratch and dent and minor factory cosmetic imperfections. While items last. We're open 9am to 4pm Monday through Saturday.
