In rare instances, our pilots might encounter a situation where the aerial saw gets lodged in debris from downed trees. To ensure safety, they'll prioritize clear airspace, avoiding power lines and structures and carefully land the saw in a safe zone. The spotter will then remove the obstruction, allowing the pilot to resume operation once the coast is clear.

When dealing with multiple lines crossing our right-of-ways, we implement safety procedures such as marking a painted line across the ROW at a 200’ distance from the line crossing as well as an "X" 50’ from the line crossing to help our pilots keep a visual reminder of potential hazards ahead.
