A great coordination meeting with interior and GC today for my shoreline addition, the biggest project i have ever done. It is so important to have a good team work, we try to get a higher ceiling 9’ for the addition. The interior had a hard time to figure out how to align trims with 7” height difference. Instead of looking at 2d drawings which doesn’t exist in reality, i suggested to look at the 3d model instead. Finally we find a creative solution, by use different pitch at front and back at the lower connection roof, we were able to connect the eave trims or die into a wall. Everyone is happy! Such a great experience to collaborate with other team members to find a creative solution. That will create a successful project, always work together finding a solution instead of finger pointing to each other with any issues…Of course i can’t help to create some renderings with my new learned tools, it’s so addictive like computer games!-)
