Big news for Queensland and for U.S. travelers — Fiji Airways has officially launched flights into Australia's gorgeous Gold Coast, creating a smoother, more flexible pathway from the United States to Australia via Fiji.

Starting June 11th, three flights a week will service the Gold Coast (Monday, Thursday, and Saturdays) with an easy 3.5hr journey from Fiji.

For Americans looking to reach Queensland without the usual Sydney or Brisbane congestion, this is a game‑changer. Easy connections from LAX/SFO to Fiji, then a quick hop straight into the Gold Coast — beaches, theme parks, hinterland, and laid‑back lifestyle right on arrival.
