Join us Wednesday, February 11th at 6pm 2026 for our next Kokedama Workshop! This beautiful Japanese craft highlights the plant’s natural form and character, if you’ve admired our Kokedama in the shop, now you can create one of your own 🌱

We will provide a selection of tropicals to choose from that do great in the moss ball form, and give you all the tips to help your Kokedama thrive. Come hang out with us and talk about plants while getting crafty. All materials are provided, just bring yourself!

$35 each. Spots are very limited, so please call/DM or stop by the shop to secure yours. We hope to see you there!

Time flies! Babygreens is 4 years old! We first opened our little nursery in April of 2018 as a tucked-away plant shop here in Bellingham. We’ve since grown our space to be able to hold even more plants for you to check out, learn about, and enjoy back in your own home.

The buildout of our sweet & small café came early 2019 initially as an ambitious retail hybrid concept, which has grown and shifted towards the minimalist iteration that it is today. Through these years of playful experimentation & pandemic-related pivots, the foundation of our business remains stronger than ever, with our focus narrowing in on what has always mattered to us most: plants, people, and community.

We’ve expanded our services to include commercial and residential design consultation and local delivery. We’ve accelerated the expansion of our product selection more diligently than ever with the mission of bringing you the most exciting goodies to discover in our space.

We have starry eyes and big plans for the nursery in the near-future, which we’ll soon be sharing with you, but for now, we want you to celebrate our 4th year with us! Check out our upcoming posts for more birthday details and activities in the shop this coming week! We wouldn’t be here without the sweet individuals who have worked along with us at babygreens and helped us grow over the years, as well as your enthusiastic support. We are so, so grateful that we are a part of such a spirited and kind plant community.
