Good after dawn!

Wanted to keep everyone up to date with the late breaking news of BHR! Started on our next "flood house" got it all reinsulated and new subfloors down after a plethora of colorful swearing and some crafty cut placements.

At the same time we replaced a whole home of windows (11) all with equal amounts of head scratching and cursing the person who came out to measure for new windows ( 1.5 inches smaller in both height and width than they should have been) which meant adding to the existing framework so we had something to nail the fl**ge to. Which also uncovered a section of rot from water damage on the front wall. Got her all buttoned up yesterday (sat) even taught the boy how to do siding.

Monday we will be installing sheetrock and getting the tub roughed in so we can start with the tile flooring in the bath.

Tuesday will be second coat of mud on all the walls there, and hopefully building a carport in gilford, assessing and getting a material list going for the sportsman's clubs list of upgrades and repairs.

Weds is kind of a mess of being everywhere, will be getting the interior trim work done at the window house while getting another coat of mud on at the flood house and getting some smaller jobs out of the way so we can keep moving forward.
Thursday is finish up at window job, crying a little bit because body parts ache, getting over it and moving forward realizing that I'm not getting any younger.

And then turning our focus on flood house up to the point where we are waiting for the special order flooring to show up. Then it's on the bcsa job until flooring comes in to finish flood house, then finishing everything, sleeping for a solid day and moving on to the next project.

Good afternoon,

Just a heads up after this week we will be all over the place trying to get a house buttoned up before the cold weather really sets in as well as getting some outlying jobs taken care of including drain downs, windows, a couple siding jobs, some (ick) painting,

But the house we are going to be working on has to take priority as all the insulation was removed due to flood damage, and its a year round occupancy so we have to get it back up and running for the residents as soon as humanly possible. I apologize in advance for some of the jobs that have to be set back a couple weeks but we have always put these things as priorities.

I appreciate all the love and support from our ever-growing community which has become a gigantic family over the years. As always we are never too far away if there's an emergency, but please bear with us for the next few weeks.

Let's do something different for a change, this time I need your help. I'm going to be participating in the laconia christmas parade this year and can't decide what I want to do for a float. If time and money weren't an issue I would have had my trailer vinyl wrapped to look like Santa's mobile workshop.

Finally got some time to update our "what we did/are planning"

These last several weeks have been hectic trying to keep up. We built 3 surrounds for ac's and oil tanks, rebuilt a flood damaged closet, saw a moose, replaced water heaters, looked at another potential flood house ( still working on a quote) found and fixed a leaking pipe under a trailer, installed snow stops on a couple houses, got a riding lawnmower that was bound for the scrap pile, fixed that up so its perfect, broke my bike, quoted a broken subfloor, removed a built in place vanity and installed a 60" vanity with more drawers, remodeled a little bathroom as well... I'm sure I'm forgetting alot it's been a super busy couple of weeks. I have forgotten to take pics ofnalot of it because I'm getting old ( I realized it when I put on my "I love bingo" hat)

Still on the docket is siding/trim at the BCSA, siding at a house in gilford, more snow stops, several winterizations, a couple kitchen remodels, a living room make over.... and more.

Powering through the list..... I believe we are down to 1 deck left to build, a tiny bathroom remodel, oil tank and ac cover to build, about 10 houses worth of snow stops, a kitchen remodel, potentially a second kitchen remodel with bathroom and all new flooring throughout, another whole house of flooring.....and I have to wash the truck to get last winters grime off it at some point

We did a thing with some other things and made a thing. But on a for real note, we framed up and enclosed a breezeway the last couple days and I love the way it came out. We also skirted the front deck, added insulation panels under the house, moved the water spigot from inside breezeway to out back and swore a moderate amount. Enjoy!

As promised, here's the enclosed porch we just finished. We reframed the base of the deck and stairs, framed out for a 48x48 window, an 84x48 window and a big ol 36 inch door... finished her off with some similar siding to what was on the house and did the interior walls in vinyl soffit because everything else was water resistant.
