Attention!!!!!!!
Not goodbye, just go do great things!
Nine years of loyalty, leadership, grit, and brotherhood.
Mitchell, thank you for helping build Mullis Construction Group into what it is today. We love you, we’re proud of you, and we’ll always be rooting you on. 🙏🏼💪🏼🏗️
For the almost last nine years, Mitchell Blackburn has been more than an employee of Mullis Construction Group. He has been a vital part of who we are, how we operate, and how we have grown.
Mitchell started with us from the ground up from labor, to foreman, project management, sales, estimating, and “I.T” IYKYK 😂, & just about everything in between. Over the years, he has helped MCG execute more than $230 million in estimates and has been part of roughly $45 million in completed projects under his watch. Those numbers are impressive, but they still do not fully capture what Mitchell has meant to this company, to me personally, and to my family.
Since the day Mitchell walked through the door he has pushed the envelope. He has challenged the standard, carried responsibility, built relationships, represented our company well, and been one of the familiar faces so many of our clients, trade partners, friends, and family have come to know and trust.
Mitchell has been a rock star for Mullis Construction Group. But more than that, he has become a brother and family.
I have had the honor of watching him grow through so many seasons of life — from the early days, late nights, and everything that came with building this company, to seeing him become the man he is today: a husband, a father, a homeowner, a provider, and a leader. Watching his journey has been one of the greatest honors of my life, and supporting him in this next chapter is truly a feather-in-my-cap moment.
Mitchell is moving on to a new opportunity, and while we will absolutely miss him, this is not a sad moment. This is a moment to cheer him on. He has earned the big responsibility, the bigger projects, and the opportunity that lies ahead. We know he is capable. We know he is ready. We know he is the man for the job because we have seen firsthand what he has done here at Mullis Construction Group.
Mitchell, please know this clearly: you will always have a home at Mullis Construction Group. The door will always be open, and there will always be a path back here. But in this season, we wholeheartedly support you. We are proud of you. We are thankful for you. We are praying for you. And we are cheering you on from afar.
From Angie, Makenna, myself, our team, our clients, our friends, and our family — thank you.
Thank you for your diligence.
Thank you for your loyalty.
Thank you for your leadership.
Thank you for your friendship.
Thank you for helping build Mullis Construction Group into what it is today.
This is not goodbye. This is “we’ll see you later.”
Go do great things. Grab life by the horns. Take this new opportunity and show them exactly who you are and what you are capable of.
Mitchell, we love you, brother. We support you. We will miss you. And we will always be in your corner.
Go do your thing.
