We are a veteran/family owned company looking to grow our team with a self-motivated, driven individual. We are hiring for the position of a pump service technician. This is a career opportunity in the pump and water industry. Our office is located in Sunriver and we service all of central Oregon. Position will grow with the company and have the opportunity for a path to ownership.
Job Description
- Install, repair, & service domestic and agricultural water pump systems
- Install and maintain water filtration systems
- Design, install, maintain & repair medium to large irrigation systems
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Team player who is goal-oriented, positive and self-motivated
- Work in a drug free environment
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Physical ability to maintain continuous physical activity
- Ability to lift 80-100 pounds with heavy shoveling and wrenching
- May involve contact and handling of hazardous waste and unpleasant materials
- Willing to work overtime and late hours as needed
Recommended Abilities:
- Knowledge of pump systems and electric motor controls
- Knowledge of hand tools
- Basic electricity & plumbing skills
- Common Sense
- Good work ethics
- Willing to learn all phases of the business to grow with the business
Pay
- $18-$25 per hour depending on experience
