KNOWING YOUR STYLE isn’t just good for self-growth, it’s good for the planet too.

Case in point: when we worked with these clients back in 2021, they fell hard for this green bed. When they moved a few years later and we started talking about furnishing their new home, there was no question: the bed was coming with them.

And here she is, in all her glory.

When you know what you truly love, like, and don’t like, it becomes much easier to invest in pieces that can outlast trends, moves, and all the in-between chapters of life.

Not sure what your style is yet? Don’t sweat it. When you work with us, defining your style is a key part of the process.

Open floor plans can feel tricky to get right, but the solution is usually pretty simple: give each space a reason to exist.

In this home, the architecture already had so much going for it: beautiful form, tall ceilings, a strong material palette, and an easy flow from one space to the next. But those same qualities were also what made it feel vast.
Because the great room, dining area, and kitchen all connected so openly, they started to merge into one another. Add in hard surfaces, tall ceilings, and existing light fixtures, and the home had what we lovingly called a bit of a “medieval castle vibe.”

So rather than fighting the open floor plan, we worked with it. We created zones that allowed the spaces to feel separate, but still together. Someone could be eating at the dining table, someone else could be playing games by the window, and someone could be reading in the living room, all within the same larger room, but with each person having their own little pocket of space.

Has it really been a month since this project was featured on ? We’re still on a high from that, and honestly just from seeing this project come together.

Our clients fell in love with the architecture of the home, its easy flow, and the way it invited people in.

Inspired by the existing colors and textures of the home, we layered vibrant hues, tactile furnishings, light fixtures with organic, playful forms, and lush indoor plants. The vision was to create a home that felt welcoming and soulful, where the original material palette could shine with more softness, more intention, and more personality.

We had a blast at the launch of LUXE NEXT in LA this past weekend! I’m still processing all of it and having a hard time putting it into words which is shocking for somebody who loves to write!
For now, I’m just thankful to be here! Huge thanks to and the team, along with our hosts for putting on such a great party at their beautiful home. And if you’re unsure what the fuss is all about be sure to swipe to the end for more insight… or pick up a copy of luxe magazine at a store near you for the full experience ;)

I am beyond thrilled to be named an inaugural member of LUXE NEXT! It’s an honour for our studio to be included alongside such an inspiring group of designers and industry leaders. Thank you to , and for the recognition.

Running a creative business is a journey no one really prepares you for but everyday we show up bringing our best and this type of recognition is a reminder to keep going, to keep designing and to stay ever curious so that we can continue to bring our best to every single project.

Most of all, I’m grateful for our clients, our past and present team members, and our collaborators. You make this journey as an interior designer incredibly wonderful and rewarding.

Excited for what’s ahead!

This project is officially in the Tricorn Black hall of fame. This kind of “magic” doesn’t happen by chance - it comes from a very real, step-by-step process:

1. During our discovery phase we got crystal clear on why Niki & Jeff brought School of Rock to Bend and what they wanted kids to feel here.

2. That purpose became our design compass: real points of reference to design from (not vague “rock and roll” moodiness). It shaped everything, from how rooms were named to what went on the walls.

3. We made the concept physical through storytelling details: Art wasn’t decoration, it became narrative. Lighting wasn’t just lighting, it became ‘Harvest Moons’, part of the story.

4. We built in a surprise: the bathrooms as a retrocentric haven, a little hit of nostalgia that makes even (or rather, especially) the older students grin.. Swipe all the way to the end YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO!

Their desire to do something different + our ability to truly understand their vision meant the concept stayed intact all the way through - no watering it down, no random choices, no design-by-default. And that, my friends, is what made this space so magical and what we mean when we say “interior design for curious people”!

Do you know somebody who could use our magic in an upcoming project? Send them this post… We love it when our friends play match makers!

Our job is to create spaces that FEEL like something - environments that spark emotion and resonate with the people who use them. As a full-service interior design studio, we handle the design, procurement, and installation coordination, so the whole process feels seamless.

For the School of Rock team, that meant they could stay focused on the business of rock: building an incredible music program and finding the most talented instructors.

We’ve been keeping this 10,000sf project under wraps for the better part of the last year and finally talking about it! Or rather, The Oregonian is… We still have a long way to go but I can tell you this much - these bathrooms are the funnest concept we’ve worked on to date!

The new restaurant will be an "ode to Portland," with over-the-top decor designed to pull in the bridge-and-tunnel crowd.

We DON’T DO run-of-the-mill, and we seem to have a knack for attracting clients who don’t either. Jeff & Niki Reading from came to us with a mood board that said we don’t want the same as everyone else!
Working within franchise guidelines, we worked with them to create a design that would be bold, fun and memorable. Yes, we used a hell of a lot of red and black (did I mention brand guidelines?) but we did it with FLAIR!

This isn’t just another School of Rock - this is BEND SCHOOL OF ROCK. It is wild, it’s loud and a whole lot of fun!
This was one of the funnest projects we’ve worked on - nostalgia, color, bold murals, say no more! I’m so thankful that Niki & Jeff Reading trusted us with crazy ideas that now feel like iconic moments. One of the coolest things about this project was to work with Vivi Designs whose work I had long admired and to meet and work with Mac who seems to radiate creativity!
