1. Ground person who can run the ropes like a pro. minimum 2 years experience working in the tree service. Comfortable driving, towing, & operating equipment. Familiar with current tree service tools and safety practices.

This new sawmill allows us to more efficiently divert wood waste and provide urban salvaged lumber. After we perform a necessary tree removal, we are able to make bark chips for gardens, firewood to heat your home and/or enjoy an outdoor fire, and now, dimensional lumber for your projects big and small.

Emergencies happen. What happened here? This is the perfect example of a multi-trunk tree, which had bark inclusion. Bark inclusion usually signifies a weakness and is prone to rot and decay. In this tree, it was present at a structurally crucial area leading to the failure of one of the trunks.

It’s a beautiful warm, sunny day in the PNW. Also, all the winds.

AK Timber Services is here for your tree needs. If you have any concerns about your trees, their integrity, or possible hazards, that’s what we’re here for. We are prioritizing jobs with safety concerns and possible hazards. But, we encourage you to call us to discuss all your tree care needs. Let us take care of your trees outside while you take care of yourself and your family inside.

We appreciate your support during this time. During COVID19, we are practicing CDC recommended hygiene, sanitation, and social distancing. Our arborist can do no contact estimates and/or we can yell at each other from 6ft apart, your preference. We’ll be there for you and your trees no matter what.
