Heat pump water heaters are super efficient and save you a lot of money compared to oil, gas, or electric water heaters. They also dehumidify your basement.

Example- My dehumidifier costed me around $20 a month and my water heater costed me around $50. I switched to a heat pump water heater and stopped using my dehumidifier. I saved $50 a month on average. Plus a tax credit!
Vermont right now gives a $600 rebate off the tank at purchase.
Energy guide on this is $115 per year.
Energy guide on an electric is $550 per year.
