Making good progress on this exterior painting and deck refinishing project.

This project includes full exterior prep and painting, deck refinishing, new patio door installation, and a custom wood gate installation. We’ve completed extensive preparation work, window protection, repairs, and are moving into the finishing stages.

A lot of detail goes into projects like this — proper prep, clean lines, protecting landscaping and surrounding areas, and making sure everything is built and finished to last. Looking forward to sharing the final results soon.

Deck Restoration & Exterior Wood Repair Project ✅

This homeowner’s deck had multiple issues including peeling solid stain, weathered boards, and rotted framing at the front step area. Before applying any new coating, we focused on proper preparation and structural repairs to make sure the finish would last.

Scope of work included:

• Replacing the front step due to rotted framing
• Minor carpentry and wood repairs
• Full deck power washing and surface cleaning
• Sanding failing and peeling areas for proper adhesion
• Detailed prep work around railings and trim
• Application of 2 full coats of Benjamin Moore Woodluxe Solid Stain

Proper deck refinishing is much more than just applying stain. Surface preparation, moisture control, sanding, and using the right exterior products are what determine how long a deck coating will hold up through Midwest weather.

For this project we used Benjamin Moore Woodluxe solid stain to provide a durable protective finish while giving the deck a completely refreshed appearance.

The old stairs and railings were heavily rotted, unsafe, and starting to fail. We rebuilt the stair section with new pressure treated lumber, installed new railings, decking boards and repaired the gate under the deck so it’s working properly again.

This bathroom update came together really nice🙌🏻

Not a full gut remodel — we kept the existing tub and wall panels — but everything else around it got a major upgrade and completely changed the feel of the space.

For this project we:
• Demoed damaged drywall
• Added new insulation
• Removed old door area and reframed the space
• Installed new bathroom fan
• Installed bathroom-rated drywall
• Added recessed can lights
• Installed new floor tile
• Installed new double sink vanity
• Added recessed medicine cabinet with light + outlet
• Installed new toilet
• Installed new door and baseboards

The goal was to make the bathroom feel brighter, cleaner, and more modern — and the final result turned out exactly how our customer wanted.

One of our favorite parts is how much more open and functional the space feels now compared to before.

Last couple weeks we’ve been working hard on multiple projects, and here is one of the decks we recently finished.

This project started with removing an old 14x10 deck that was no longer safe or practical for the homeowners. We rebuilt and expanded it into a brand new 14x16 pressure treated deck with new framing, footings, stairs, and railings from the ground up.

One of our favorite details on this build is the cocktail top railing — simple feature, but it completely changes how the deck feels. Perfect spot to set down a drink, coffee, or just lean back and enjoy summer evenings outside.

We always try to build decks that don’t just look good in photos, but actually feel comfortable to live on every day.
