We offer U-pick strawberries & blueberries, a fall pumpkin patch with hayrides, fresh produce, greenhouse veggies, plants, handmade ice cream, coffee, and seasonal fun! We operate a container nursery, specializing in woody ornamentals such as hollies, wax myrtles, roses, and more! ery, we also operate a full-scale garden center. On our farm, we grow strawberries, blueberries, greenhouse tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, cantaloupes, and more! We offer pick your own strawberries and blueberries in the spring and summer as well as a pumpkin patch and hayrides in the fall. We recently upgraded our roadside produce stand and currently operate a farmers market that we keep stocked with fresh local produce, local meats, dairy, fresh-baked breads, and more. In addition to the farmers market, we have a wonderful ice cream and coffee stand and offer fresh Maple View Dairy ice cream and Larry's coffee! We offer field trips in the spring and fall which include strawberry picking or pumpkin picking depending on the season as well as visits to our chickens, large farm animals, and our catfish pond. Fall field trips include a hayride around the farm. Come out to our farm and see all we have to offer. We are open year-round in the nursery office. We’ve got an awesome workshop coming up next Saturday, June 27th at 10 am! We will be hosting our Houseplant and Propagation workshop at the farm once again! This workshop is geared towards adults and is perfect for beginners and master gardeners alike.

This workshop will cover all the basics from planting to pest control and everything in between! AND you’ll get to take home a brand new potted houseplant and propagation!

Fresh from our kitchen today: Blueberry Cobbler and Cinnamon Rolls!

Tomato pies are coming out later today!

Our blueberry cobbler is packed with sweet, juicy blueberries and baked to perfection. And our cinnamon rolls are everything a cinnamon roll should be—soft, fluffy, smothered in butter and cinnamon, and topped with a rich cream cheese icing.

While you’re here, be sure to check out our produce table. It’s loaded with fresh fruit, and we have two varieties of peaches available: white peaches and yellow peaches.

What’s the difference?

• White Peaches: Sweeter, lower in acidity, delicate floral flavor.
• Yellow Peaches: Classic peach flavor, slightly tangy, more acidic.
• White Peaches tend to be very juicy and mild.
• Yellow Peaches hold up well for baking, canning, and cooking.

Have you ever heard of Atlantic Beach Pie?

This beloved North Carolina dessert was inspired by the lemon pies served at seafood restaurants along the coast during Chef Bill Smith’s childhood. Later made famous at Crook’s Corner in Chapel Hill, Atlantic Beach Pie combines bright lemon and lime flavors in a rich, creamy filling, all nestled in a unique Saltine cracker crust with just the right hint of salt. Topped with the zest of lemon and lime, it’s the perfect balance of sweet, tart, and salty.

As the strawberry season comes to a close, we want to thank everyone who visited, picked berries, and supported us throughout another wonderful season. Fresh strawberry and U-pick strawberry season has officially ended for the year.

The good news? Our U-pick blueberries are going strong! The bushes are loaded with beautiful berries and the picking has been excellent. Bring the family out and enjoy a morning on the farm gathering fresh blueberries straight from the field.

We’ve also updated our store hours:

Monday–Friday: 9 AM – 5 PM
Saturday: 9 AM – 4 PM
Sunday: 10 AM – 4 PM

Hi Storytime friends!!!

Tomorrow will be a hot one so we’ve got a super fun storytime planned to help you stay cool in this summer heat!

We will be reading “Otis” by Loren Long under the shade of the pine trees. Our Storytime will start at 11 am sharp and will be followed up by some playtime in the sprinklers!!!

Be sure to wear something that you don’t mind getting wet! We can’t wait to see you there☀️
